]]> We are excited to announce that DOPO Pizza & Pasta has officially opened its doors in Truckee. After months of anticipation, our new location welcomed its first guests on November 28th, bringing our signature fire-kissed pizzas, handmade pastas, and warm hospitality to the heart of downtown Truckee.

A New Chapter in a Historic Space

The Truckee location sits within the newly revitalized Old Lumberyard Project, a property with deep roots in the community. The site served as the longtime home of the Truckee Tahoe Lumber Co. from 1931 to 2020, and its renovation reflects the town’s ongoing commitment to preserving history while creating fresh experiences. DOPO is proud to be part of this next chapter.

What Guests Can Expect

At DOPO Truckee, guests will find the dishes they know and love from our Reno locations: thoughtfully crafted pizzas, fresh pasta made daily, and a menu built on simple, high-quality ingredients. The Truckee kitchen also features a few offerings inspired by mountain living, seasonal produce, and the local palette.

Paired with a warm, modern space designed for gathering, DOPO Truckee offers a relaxed, come-as-you-are atmosphere for families, locals, and visitors alike. We’ve got some BIG news!

Dopo is moving its Midtown location! For those of you who have been with us since our Food & Drink days, thank you! We’ve learned a lot since then, and for those of you who visit us every week, we think you’ll agree: we’re busting at the seams!

We need a patio, more tables and chairs, a bigger kitchen, and a new pizza oven! While we’ve loved our current ‘hole-in-the-wall’ red sauce joint, we’re ready for a new adventure in the Riverwalk District!

We’re moving to a brand-new space in the heart of the Riverwalk District at 190 S Center St, Reno, NV 89501, in the former Sizzle Pie location.

  • A newly fenced 3,000 sq/ft patio for outdoor dining in the spring, summer, and fall.
  • About 30 additional interior dining seats in our new space—still sizzling with a freshly painted and remodeled interior!
  • Our bar area is three times the size of our current one, perfect for all your favorite seasonal cocktails.
  • This larger space will allow us to accommodate larger parties and host indoor and outdoor food & wine events.
  • This spring, we will extend our hours to include lunch, serving all our new neighbors in the Riverwalk District!
Our last night of service at the Midtown location will be in late March. Stay tuned to our website or our Instagram for up-to-date information! Come dine with us one last time at our St. Lawrence spot, and we can tell you more in person!
